St John lead the way at the Beijing Olympics

"Since Beijing started preparing for the Games we took an active role working with the Beijing Emergency Medical Centre" explains Lung Ngai Cheung, a volunteer from Hong Kong St John Ambulance. "It was a rare opportunity and a real honour to be involved. We all did our best to serve the Games well."
A further
600 of the organisation’s members were also deployed at the equestrian and paralympic
events held in Hong Kong from July to September, providing first aid coverage
for the competition venues, Olympic and Paralympic Villages, media hotel and
public transport interchanges.
